Junior Golf Program 2010
SIGNUP FORMS AND PACKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT TRI-CITY G.C., BULL'S EYE C.C., AREA LOCAL PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS, ONLINE, AND LOCAL AREA BUSINESSES.
This information is designed to keep parents and children informed about the 2010 Junior Golf Program. It is important to read through all the information in order to be included in all the events that will take place this summer.
Eligibility: The program is open to all Junior Golfers in Wisconsin Rapids and surrounding areas. The minimum age to begin the program is 4 years and the maximum age is 17.
Equipment: We encourage all Juniors to have their own equipment for Junior Golf days and not to borrow from other Juniors. While on the course, all Juniors are responsible for carrying their own clubs or using an appropriate pull cart.
Dress Code: All Juniors must wear appropriate golf attire while participating in Junior Golf. Boys must wear collars, no cut off shorts, no tank tops, no tee shirts and have smooth soled shoes (tennis type) or golf shoes with non-metal spikes. Girls are not required to wear collars, no cut off shorts, no tank tops, and must have smooth soled shoes or golf shoes with non-metal spikes.
Schedule June 18 - Orientation, Rules and Video for juniors – 9:00 am
June 25 - Gripwork, stance, posture and setup
July 2 - Full Swing
July 9 - No Junior Golf(outing)
July 16 - Chipping and Putting
July 23 - No Junior Golf(outing)
July 30 - Full Swing
August 6 - Fun Day(skills competition)
August 13 - Junior Championship (Must sign up by August 6th)
August 20 - Parent-Junior Tournament (Must sign up by August 13th)*
* Parent-Junior Tournament (9:00am shotgun)
Friday Schedule
18 & 9 Hole Players - 8:00am lesson then golf at Bull's Eye C.C.
3-5 Hole Players - 9:30am lesson then golf at Bull's Eye C.C.
2 Hole Players - 10:15 am lesson then golf at Bull's Eye C.C.
Rules
- Safety is important for everyone. Nobody should swing a club when we are in a group talking about our lesson. Always make sure you are clear of everyone before you swing your golf club. Never get behind or in front of someone.
- Everyone is expected to listen and behave. Anyone who does not behave will be asked to sit down for 5 minutes and if the behavior continues the individual may be asked to sit out for the day.
- When playing on the course, always replace divots and repair ball marks on greens. Be quiet when others are hitting. Absolutely no throwing of golf clubs.
- All garbage and trash must be put in the proper containers!
- Keep accurate and honest scores, yours and others. FALSE SCORES HURT YOU, NOT OTHERS!
- Learn the game, have fun, and respect your playing partners.

3-5 and 2 Holers - $80
